it's not that complicated. the oft referred to "mind-bending" element is what it suggests for reality.

but it was clearly shown that money is different in alternate universes. remember, jason 2 had twenty dollar bills with john f kennedy on them. which would mean even if jason 1 had cash on hand, it would be looked at as counterfeit given that.

Because Jason 2 needed money and his reality is as close to jason 1’s reality as can be. They wouldn’t emphasize that fact if it didn’t apply to the other multiversus
