SMH. This is the only place I've ever seen n!ggas complain about a plastic phone.....the first time I saw one of these threads I had to read it a few times to make sure it wasn't some sort of troll thread. It's mind boggling.

What's mind boggling is you buying a plastic pair of pants, a plastic tshirt, a plastic bed and a plastic wallet but somehow thinking that a plastic phone shouldn't matter.

I actually have the plastic Galaxy S (my first Android) and it is still working well with minimal damage to its body.

I think the issue with plastic is that it feels and looks cheap. If people are shelling out hundreds of dollars then they want a premium look and feel.

That is what it boils down too.

Also, I really don't see the point of this thread. Rhoddigy's thread starting abilities need to be stripped.

You mean the bezel? Yes it does. Aside from a small nick in the bezel from putting it in the same pocket as my keys it's in perfect condition....

Have you seen the phones? We're acting as if these things were made from the same plastic they make sandwich bags with. We're acting as if the phones aren't durable and that the non plastic phones (iPhones) don't break or crack. THAT is why its ridiculous.

No..it's not ridiculous cause that's what he has a right to like...shyt...a BUNCH of reviewers feel the same exact way even some that really love the phone otherwise...phone has a bland design and feels cheap...and I owned an S3 from like July last year till April of this year...so I already know the deal wit em...my girl's S3 is shot to all hell...honestly he said its not just about the durability..it's the whole feel of a plastic phone that he doesn't like...it doesn't feel like he's holding a premium device which is what damn near every reviewer says about galaxy phones...

Have you picked up an iPhone 5? Feel the difference between the 4S and the 5 when you pick it up. You can spin all the yarn you want to bruh, its ridiculous. And I'm not even talking about the S3. I've never even held one. But I do have a Galaxy Nexus and its plastic and it feels solidly built. My point is, the notion that phones that are made from plastic are somehow cheap is what I'm speaking on. Dude has a right to like or not like it, I'm not contesting that. I could care less. But iPhones and S3's and everything else break, crack and do all sorts of sh!t. This whole campaign agasint plastic phones is ridiculous. If the S3 feels cheap to that dude then thats on him. And that's ur opinion...that doesn't make his ridiculous...the reason the IPhone 5 feels cheaper is cause of this sudden campaign to make all phones lighter for some stupid reason...either way...I can DEF understand why someone wouldn't want a flimsy feeling plastic phone like the Galaxy line of phones...shyt..the 3GS wasn't flimsy feeling but it was mostly plastic...either way people have a right to not like plastic..it's just the way the galaxy phones are designed that make them feel and look cheap as hell..
