They have had lightning since the iPhone 5. That's 7 generations of phones. Android went from micro to USB 3 to type-C in the same span.

The good part about the USB 3 was the micro could still fit in half the plug.

I've never had more cables fall apart than my iphone/ipad cables. Absolute joke quality of cables to be honest. Never had any usb cables fall apart like them.

My mom and sister had like 3 cables each break in the 1 year since I've been back home...

I always see apple users trash talk about anything android, but when Apple has the decency of making changes because it helps everybody eat for the better, apple users don't even know it.

I'm just happy to see that Apple can't always have their way, and now everybody reap the benefits of usb-c.
