According to the account, Apple will no longer offer a blue color option for its high-end iPhone 14 Pro lineup, including Sierra Blue introduced with the iPhone 13 Pro last year. Instead, in contradiction to existing rumors, the account claims the upcoming high-end iPhones will come in dark purple, silver, gold, graphite, and green. iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro color rumors have been rather confusing in the last several weeks, with the initial rumor of a purple iPhone 14 Pro coming from an unverified source. Alleged images of iPhone 14 Pro dummy units, including a dark purple option, leaked last week. Those images, however, included a blue color option, strikingly similar to Pacific Blue from the iPhone 12 Pro series and in direct contrast to today's rumor.

Apple will be hosting a special event at Steve Jobs Theater on Wednesday to unveil the iPhone 14, Apple Watch Series 8, and more. Ahead of time, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman outlined his final expectations for the event in today's edition of his Power On newsletter.

Notably, alongside new iPhone and Apple Watch models, Gurman expects Apple to announce second-generation AirPods Pro at the event. Gurman did not indicate when the new AirPods Pro would become available to order or share any pricing information.

"I reported last year that new AirPods Pro would arrive in 2022, and now I'm told that Wednesday will be their big unveiling," said Gurman.
