The new dynamic island notch his hella distracting yo. There is a space between the notch and the top. Where the old one was connected which wasn’t even noticeable to me

u can only add one row. so either two big ones, or 4 small ones. or one big one and 2 small ones.

I think the camera cut out is slightly bigger on the 14 pro but haven’t seen anything official. Reviews drop today so hopefully wells see.

The more I think about this dynamic island the more I don't prefer it. I get that the camera is annoying but I'd prefer it disturbance of the screen minimized not turned into a persistent widget.

On my S22 Ultra it's a single cutout and it's mostly hidden in the notification area. It's pretty much out of sight most of the time. On that iPhone that stuff looks even lower on the screen than that. Seems like it's more intrusive. I'd give up Face ID on the Pro model to get that iPad Mini 6 touch ID.

Beyond that and the incremental improvement not really gaining any meaningful functionality and losing the SIM slot.
