A mint Sierra Blue Pro Max sold for 850 5 days ago and that was 128gb. 14 Plus doesn't have the screen rate, missing a whole extra camera, cheaper build, etc

You could do it if you wanted to but again I get the convenience factor

that was 5 days ago prior to the announcement. with the existence of the 14 pro max, the 13 pro max instantly depreciated.

I will buy one the day it drops. the website will tell u the phone availability and which store has it. if I can't get it by the first day, I should get it the second. I'll buy online and pick it up that same day.


the reason I can justify buying a new phone every year is simply put. this is the single piece of technology that you use 365 days a year damn near all day every day. something u interact with this much should always be the best it can be IMO.

hell no. I broke down how I'm getting it for no money out of pocket a couple pages ago. see below

simple. new iphone cost $1099. so including taxes, that comes out to $1200.

I buy the phone outright with my BOA mastercard on the apple website, which gets me a 5.25% cash back rate, which gets me $63 back. the 13 pro max has a trade in amount of 720, and apple gives u the taxes on that, so it'll be like $800 cash back and I currently have $370 apple cash from apple card purchases just sitting there

$1200-63-800-370=$-33.

so I won't pay a penny out of pocket and I will still have $33 remaining in apple cash when it's all said and done.

this is the exact method I've used to upgrade the last 3 years without paying money out of pocket.

u must have extra storage, cuz it will be hard to get someone to pay $1000 for a phone when the new one is only $1100. I know I wouldn't pay $1000 for it when the 14 pro max drops in a week.

I got the Hulk Green 256GB Pro Max Unlocked version. Looking at the prices on Swappa, there's only one listing and it's for 1000.

my phone is unlocked also. didn't know that commanded a premium.
