We return most of the starters of a top 5 defense, boast an All SEC QB in Aaron Murray & have a manageable schedule
Better concentrate on Michigan gettin blown the fukk out by Bama in a few weeks

Defense might be the thing to save us this year instead of just trying to outscore everyone.

Aaron Murray has a chance to be a dark horse Heisman candidate if we do what were supposed to do.

Murray,Wilson,Bray,Franklin,McCarron,Mettenberger,Shaw they got some nice QB's to me.
ACC doing some work too I like Boyd from CU, the NC State kid Glennon ,UNC QB is cool, EJ if he stay healthy will do work and the VT nikka is cool but he need some WR's.
Who the big ten got at QB?
Did Nebraska have a great off-season recruiting? The hell are they ranked so high for?
They dont have a QB, they dont have a RB, no WR's, no standout defensive players...if they were still in the Big 12, they'd go back to Bill Callahan years status.

Do you think the tempo you guys run on offense is something that caused the defense to slip in recent years? Your secondary seemed to give up a lot of unnecessary big plays. I remember the game vs us last year your safety taking a terrible angle on the 3rd and 28 TD Trickett threw to Rashad Greene.
I'm loving what Mark is doing down in Tally with our D he got secondary looking like

Yeah, you're right on point. Bob Stoops will never admit it though....but our defense has suffered under the Landry Jones era. We were still moving fast under Bradford, but we scored more so the drives were longer.
Now we might have 3 & out or 6 & out drives and the defense is right back to the field in like 2 mins.
I think y'all did a great job on us last year defensively...especially up front.
But y'all lost Greg Reid in the secondary, right?

Yeah, you're right on point. Bob Stoops will never admit it though....but our defense has suffered under the Landry Jones era. We were still moving fast under Bradford, but we scored more so the drives were longer.
Now we might have 3 & out or 6 & out drives and the defense is right back to the field in like 2 mins.
I think y'all did a great job on us last year defensively...especially up front.
But y'all lost Greg Reid in the secondary, right?
We have these discussions about uptempo offenses and if FSU should use it. Personally I prefer we run the rock and slow the pace but if we lack the hogs up front then wing it especially with the depth we have at reciever.
Reid isn't gonna be missed at CB IMO he will be missed more as a return man. Reid would take too many risks and not play within Stoops scheme. He was a boom or bust type of player. Rhodes was our #1 CB last year but he hurt his knee real bad in the bowl vs ND (shut Michael Floyd down 1 on 1) and we got a battle for G5 vacant spot it looks like true freshman Ronald Darby gonna take the spot.
If we can actually run the ball and control tempo our defense is gonna

That OU game last year was insane some hard ass hitting going on. That hit y'all put on Shaw killed our momentum we was doing our thing up until that point. We will be better this year because of games like that. The expectations and injuries we had on offense last year were too much for us I think we gonna be pretty damn good can't wait to get season started.

manuel has been looking good in practice from what im reading, a healthy manuel is key cuz trickett is
fsu only has one hard game imo this year and thats against virginia tech
