AOC has been fighting a war more or less by herself. She has been trying to point the party in a more truly progressive direction for the better part of a decade only to be stymied at every turn. She ran for head of the House oversight committee and lost to a boomer. Moreover we actually need immigrants for our economic growth and stability.
