This. It's a stupid, and bad look. And gives me less faith that democrats are going to properly assess this situation (hell, they should seriously consider investigating these results, but I think they are too cowardly.)
It also implies that your position was "wrong", and you are basically telling those peope they no longer matter.
Just really stupid. I think the biggest problem with the dems right now is this simple truth: Dems seem like they used to be "nerds", and republicans have this position as the stupid, jock or cool kid in school, they certainly aren't "nerds" for bettee or worse.
Whereas with clinton, Obama, etc we were the cool kids.

We used to be percieved the fact based, science based progressives acknowledging the reality of things. Republicans were the archaic, religious, science denying group. (And still are)
However, then Trans stuff blew up, and...we found ourselves for the first time...having to distort reality to be inclusive. Leaving a hole open for them to now look at us like the crazy ones. That never was a thing before.
They devastated the credibility of the party tbh and gave republicans a slice of seeming reasonable.
