I mean I can probably only say this on this forum lol but...the trans movement severely hurt the democrats. Like...severely.

We used to be percieved the fact based, science based progressives acknowledging the reality of things. Republicans were the archaic, religious, science denying group. (And still are)

However, then Trans stuff blew up, and...we found ourselves for the first time...having to distort reality to be inclusive. Leaving a hole open for them to now look at us like the crazy ones. That never was a thing before.

They devastated the credibility of the party tbh and gave republicans a slice of seeming reasonable.

This. It's a stupid, and bad look. And gives me less faith that democrats are going to properly assess this situation (hell, they should seriously consider investigating these results, but I think they are too cowardly.)

There's nothing wrong with having pronouns in your bio.

It's basically the equivalent of 'Mr' or 'Mrs,' but in a lot of work settings everyone goes by their first name.

Plus you may be dealing with somebody you haven't met in person and who may not have an anglicized name, so you don't know their gender right away.

Yeah man, they hurt us man. They hurt us bad. Not saying I'm not gonna respect decisions, acknowledge their existence, vote against their well being etc. But they hurt us at a crucial time. Just was kind of a weird thing out of nowhere culturally.
