I know retail stores are supposed to play edited material but I was in an Urban Outfitters recently and "Aint No Fun" (uncensored) came on.....There were a few older white women and their kids in line in front of me......I never cringed so hard in my life 
im all for this, but if someone pulls up next to me on the street and they got their windows down, thats not my fault.
Its similiar to someone who smokes a cigerette in the street giving you their second hand smoke with no consideration. Its a consideration factor that many are ignorant to.
U can do whatever u wanna do.....When that Cee Lo song "fukk you" comes on the radio while u and your daughter are in the car, just turn up the volume, look at your daughter and have her sing along with you.
There was once a time when radio and TV wouldnt play certain things around kids. In 2015 every morning when my son listens to the Breakfast club they play that same skit over and over again with the girl singing "All over my butt.....all over my butt....all over my butt" I laugh everytime I hear that thinking how society has sinken further into moral bankruptcy

I thought that was just an issue in the hood but even the so called decent neighborhood shopping areas are plagued with irresponsible people who dont evenstop to think that their playlist is improper yet they have kids and elders entering their establishment. I think to myself " I couldnt dare put that on why would someone not see that its not right?" People are really that inconsiderate out there. The " I dont give a fukk" mentality is strong in our society. This is why u have to educate your circle with pious actions and look at the world as lost outsiders...Thats really all we can do because u cant fight the world. At the most one could complain to a manager about such a situation which I have seen before...But for the most part when stores blare profanity laced music I just think of the reality of how this society is morally bankrupt and keep it moving. I remember years ago on one occasion on the train having to ask some hoodlum to turn off his Lil Wayne which was over the top and I had my lil cousins with me...Dude just lowered it down and I let it be. I hardly ride the train and this one occasion I felt I had to cuz I had kids with me but normally when cats got smartphones playing profanity laced music I just play it off and ignore it and mind my business.

Pops used to play Big Mike, Spice 1 and Pac on road trips when I was younger..ain't shyt happen to me.
It depends on how you raise your kids, if you're doing a good job..the music you play around them isn't gonna destroy them like you think.
Most of the time when I see this scenario though, it's a single hoodrat mom with a couple of Rayshawns and Teneshas in the backseat. Bumping trap music with the windows down, reciting the tracks word for word...now them lil nikkas don't stand a chance.

My daughter is getting older and she repeats everything she hears so no I don't play stupid ignorant profanity laced lyrics around her. She can explore all that when she's older. I listen to other shyt besides rap music so it ain't hard to flip it to something else. Some people think it's cute when their 4 yr old is reciting all the rhymes to Anaconda.

A little cursing doesn't really bother me around my kids..Because its just language..But tone and context is important..
Lil Wayne for example is just filthy, vulgur and demonic for no artistic reason at times..You don't realize how crazy he sounds sometimes until one of his songs comes on around your daughter..

I was playing OBFCL 2 with my two and a half year old daughter in the room. My thinking is she doesn't yet understand what she's listening to. That being said, when Ghost's verse on Gihad came on, I switched to the next song with the quickness
