Anyone use/used Akai Software (Renaissance or Studio)?

Another thing to point out is! Akai has been really quiet on the ren development. There has been NO NEWS on 1.9! Usually they would drop a sneak peek by now and 1.8 was released in Feb. Updates would roll out every 2-3 months tops. I guess there working on the new joint cause of this

I'm in the market for new equipment as I'm setting up a new production-focused studio. I want to go with a Renaissance but it really looks like the Maschine Studio is the better choice from what I'm hearing

Since the maschine studio has no interface, what interface will you be running with it??? I would wait a couple more months fam. Some major things are upon us, I have a good source but i cant get anymore info

But if you want something now than i would highly recommend the komplete kontrol keyboard from native instruments. Tons of fun and will expand your creativity. Take it from me, im a super nerd when it comes to this stuff and i been producing for a long time.

To be honest I'm not sure yet, gonna be starting from the ground up with a whole new set-up

The NAMM show is in january! Thats when all the new stuff gets announce/released. In the meantime make a list of things you can find now and compare with the new gear that will be announced in the next couple months.

IF this was stand alone it would have been a game changer. but since its not....I'm staying with the Maschine.
