Anyone still using HP's Touchpad?

Just ran across this post from an Cyanogen Mod dev in my Google+ stream...

Well, my TouchPad followers are in luck it seems. Since I can't unlock my TF700, I am going to return it.

Asus has had this same problem with 3 different models(released months apart) and they still can't fix these unlock and OTA issues. Asus' response to support inquiries is that they do not support the unlock tool....nevermind the fact that I can't get OTA updates either. I could exchange it but there are many people that have had to exchange tablets 3+ times to get one that will unlock.

In addition, all the Tegra 3 Transformer models have poor I/O performance. The TF700 is somewhat memory constrained since it is driving a 1920x1200 display. This all leads to relatively poor performance for my use cases.

Despite absolutely loving a tablet with a keyboard dock, I can't justify spending $650 on a device with these problems. So, the TouchPad will now be my primary tablet which means I'll be doing a lot more development on it than I have over the last 4 months or so.

Mine does too its 50/50. It can go weeks with wifi and no issues and then bam one restart and wifi is fuked for days

Why wait? If they can get Jellybean to alpha status (which is a great) daily driver for the vast majority of users) as fast as they did for ICS, there's no need to focus all of their effort to ICS.

It was doa. Palm needed to listen to liquid. WebOS would have been a great Android overlay. I miss it.

What rom

I have used all the major roms for the TP and from day one I have never had a time where I could not connect to or maintain wifi support. I am currently on Butta but have used others. Wifi just worked for me all the time.

I just wish that we had access to more games. I am wondering if game support would be any better on Jellybean.
