Yeah, I've LONG wondered why there hasn't been a Bass Reeves movie. He's atop my list of needed black movie biopics. It doesn't even need to be about his whole life; you could just do a film about him chasing down his own son, who murdered his mother.

In fact, in the last season of Justified they make a Bass Reeves reference and one of the characters asks why Denzel hasn't starred in a Bass Reeves movie.

Another movie I'd like to see is an adaptation of Black Boy by Richard Wright. Not the whole book. Just the first half of it; before he joins the Communist Party.

just left the theatre an hour or so ago and my first reaction upon exit was this might be the greatest/most beautiful movie i've ever seen

i know once i calm down from my high and wake up tomm or whatever i might feel different but right now i'm and and at the beauty i just witnessed

You went too far a little bit cause what's about Rosewood movie? cause it was close to be a slavery movie but it after slavery was ended.

I think you're a little bit bitter and a little bit hater.

I already brought this up. "Rosewood" took place 60 years after Slavery was abolished in America. It was more about jim crow and segregation. Also what do I have to be bitter about? Also I have no reason to hate. A film is art and art is subjective. Not everyone is going to love Django Unchained. I gave the film a C+ in my review. Far from a D or F but not B or A material. My reason is simple, I just think an Action Action about Slavery waters down the history that's just me. To make matters worst they are making Django Dolls which makes it feel more like exploitation:

My reason is simple, I just think an Action Action about Slavery waters down the history that's just me.

how does a movie that isn't about slavery water down slavery? you keep saying slavery isn't action adventure movie but you're ignoring the fact that 1. this movie isn't about slavery and 2. slavery isn't an singular incident it was a time period in american history aka a setting. you think the movie is a "c" based on whatever your critique system is fine but this watering down slavery nonsense is reaching

I was legit when him and Waltz cancelled each other. They were the two best characters in the movie to me.

Jamie did his thing though Django was a bad mother fukker.

An I the only one who wishes it was a longer movie? The shyt flew by to me I've never seen something like that since Casino, I didn't expect the pace to be so fast. Could of used the kill bill treatment with this one
