MJ don't owe him shyt. Maybe MJ fell back because dude was bat shyt crazy. How many of his other past players are helping this dude out? How do we know that MJ isn't helping in some other capacity?

yeah but maybe he's fukked up from drinking. My point is we really don't know their relationship or why pops is even fukked up in the first place. It's unfair to say Mike is fiscally responsible for him without knowing the details. He could easily be a dysfunctional drunk who Mike rightfully forgot about.

And according to the article he denies it and won't accept help for it, which is fairly common for the disease. It's why people who suffer from it often end up alone.
Even though the author's goal was to paint Jordan to be an a$$hole (something we all already knew) he slipped up and admitted that several people had tried to help Pop and he fukked those opportunities up. It also admits his own daughter doesn't go see him. It's sad the way the guy's life fell apart but it's not the responsibility of Jordan, Leroy Smith, or any of those other guys to try to help a guy that can't be helped.
