It's funny how when someone earns a lot of money it's cool for everyone else to tell them how they should be spending it.
Mike came up in the "don't tell" era though. There wasn't a need to be smarter than the media because they were still protecting elite athletes. It wasn't until the 90's and the explosion of 24 hour sports news, internet, and sports talk radio where reporters stopped protecting guys like that. Kobe and Tiger are both more than a decade younger than Mike and came of age in an era where guys had to be more low key with their shyt. I am pretty sure neither Kobe or Tiger or Bron for that matter have been as bold with their shyt as Mike or Magic other guys from that era were.

just because someone is successful doesnt mean they help EVERYONE out around them, im successful but ill be damned if i give out my hard earned money to every motherfukker i ever crossed paths with, that's a way you end up TO status and broke - money isn't everything but you need it to live and it is in no way whatsoever MJ's responsibility to help a grown man out, he's a grown man he should take care of his damn self
I don't think anybody is telling Mike how he should spend his money(well the writer of the article is 
). I think the issue that most reasonable people have is the lack of loyalty being displayed for a man that went out of his way to help him when he was nobody. Mike doesn't have to do shyt he doesn't want to however that doesn't stop it from being fukked up and I think that is what most fair-minded people are saying here. I guess it's common for coaches/teachers to invite nikkas into their homes, let them use their car, and give them one on one attention outside of school hours. I guess that's just par for the course huh?
