Anyone sample anime? If so post

That song isn't sampled, or even an interpolation for that matter. The guy (Bruce Faulconer) that composed the original theme said so himself. When I (personally) asked Shawty Redd about it, he also confirmed that he didn't sample/interpolate the record. He said he just played those chords, 'cause that's how he was feeling (emotionally) at the time. People think it's sampled, because the pads sounds eerily similar, but for the record, Shawty Redd's version is a Roland Fantom preset. I've even made a beat using that same sound. If you listen closely, Pikkon'z Theme is composed of manipulated/tweaked organs. "You Know What It Is" is composed of a pad.

I haven't sampled Anime, but here's some tracks I spit too that were based off of anime samples that some of the Tunnel brehs cooked up.

This one was produced by @D1renegade and uses a popular DBZ vocal sample. He got the 1st verse and I have the 2nd.


This one samples the Fist of the North Star series (the original one from the 80's) this was produced by @clanarchy I got 2 verses on this.


This one sample Bayonetta. It's from the game, but I think they also use it in the anime too. (Towards the end) This beat was also produced by Clanarchy. I just told him what parts to use. Dope storytelling record.

I respect you for attempting to sample my favorite anime. My honest critique is that it needs a tuning though. The sample's drum/bass are clashing with your own. They also need to sound together, as of now it sounds like two tracks playing something different as opposed to one sound altogether, some EQing should fix that.

Is that like a skeleton?

Blue Delorian - Really like this shyt. The toms/drums that came in at about 45 were a bit much but nice overall. Almost made me want to make something but I'm too lazy and preoccupied right now. But nice.
