I have no idea what happened to these females and that makes me sad. Listen to these voices.......:damn:

One more time, with the instrumental track playing behind the vocals.......:ohlawd:

Used to BUMP this one, too.....

EDIT: Just found out they're on R and B Divas.

Ayo @Wacky D and @Homeboy Runny-Ray did y'all nikkas fukk with these songs? I can't front, I use to slap both of these on the regular as a youngin

If you had a chic come thru and you had this ^^ song on you was getting some action. The lead singer was Donald Faison's little brother.

lol. that imajin video got me rollin.

the way the video started, I thought it was gonna be a generic up-tempo. but then they bust into a teen-nick mint condition routine. jawn was alright tho. did they actually play those instruments?

lol. i see at some point, people done started cheating in here. yall done started sneaking some pretty big hits in the mix. lol.

let me back it up.

as the story goes; j-shin left the group b4 they shot the video. his verse is still on it. they lip-sang his verse(I think the light-skinned dude did the milli vanilli honors.) aired the video on local shows but axed it before it went national. song still charted well despite all of that, but dammit this should be mentioned with the best.

KEEPIN IT NO LIMIT. YOU KNOW WE HAD TO DO IT...........MERCEDES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HOLD THE PHONE!!!! I was side-scrolling some of these links and found this. I was about to say that I don't remember this, but its starting to sound familiar.

THESE CHICKS IS BAD!!!!! and wow @ whats going on at the 3:02-3:20 mark. just wow. plus theres crip-walking in the video. is this the 1st time this was captured in a music video?

word is he had team of ghostwriter....i think nas penned a few of his songs
but his overall flow and cadence made you:ohhh:for such a young bul, way ahead of his time.....i still got latchkey kid somewhere in my collection

I remember somebody on here said that cannibus was writing for him.

but yea, dude was dope nonetheless. a lil bit too dope if you ask me. speaking of which, did shyheim write his own stuff? hes another one I look at like :usure:.

but yea, A+ was like a seriously complete emcee. his cadence, flow, mic presence, delivery. everything was just beyond on-point.

:whew: Props. Never heard this joint, smooth as fukk.

you should check out the full version on the album.

the video doesn't include the last minute of the song where Athena cage goes OFF.

The Tatyana Ali Kiss the Sky" album had a few bangers on it. Someone at the label dropped the ball by not making this song a single

If you have a great sound system in your whip you need to play this in it. Trust me.

hold up. so basically, all these songs were on that album she dropped years later in '98?

for a second there, yall had me thinking that she dropped an album in '94-95 or something. no wonder she didn't blow up. she had dated songs on there.

speaking of actresses that I was in love with back then........im surprised nobody mentioned this one:

im loving this thread. some of this stuff I completely forgot about. some I really dont remember. some I never heard of at all.

yall digging so deep in the crates that im getting my google game on.

especially @Dafunkdoc_Unlimited. keep it going man.

and of course, props to @Blackthoughts

I dont know if it qualifies, but the very 1st blackstreet video seems to be forgotten at least. the original-original blackstreet. before dave Hollister.
THIS WAS MY CHIT AND STILL IS.:stylin:

I KNOW YALL REMEMBER THIS:

im surprised nobody mentioned MEN OF VIZION.
THE THEME SONG FOR "TRIPPIN". CLASSIC MOVIE.

:krs: I remember these chicks from the Keith Sweat video, never really checked for them though.

:ohlawd:CLASSIC SONG AND VIDEO

yea. "twisted", "nobody", "get up on it". that's kut klose on those records.

they also had the "I like the way" joint. i was gonna post it but it was too big to qualify for this thread.

I feel like this song should have gone platinum. It went stone.

they didn't make any $$$ off that song?

I wanted to post it, but that song was pretty big 20 summers ago.:flabbynsick:

I didn't know that the song's popularity didn't translate to the charts. that explains why I never heard anything else from them.
