I got a few clears with Shield. Gotta go back and get a clear with every weapon. Its an INCREDIBLY fun game. Once you start gaming out all your buffs and finding what suits your playstyle its a trip. Its great to play for 20 mins or 4 hours.

This. The pickup and play nature of it make it perfect for the Switch. Even though I have it on PC.
I'm kinda terrible at this but I still love it. Haven't escaped yet but came very close to beating the final phase of the final boss

I just lost my streak fukking around with a explosive arrow / posiedon bow build
shots were slapped enemies in the mouth but the charge time was just too much

Yea I don't know if there's a way to check that. It shows the total attempts when you load a save. That's all I know about.
I'm pretty sure you can check in the admin room too

Everything is A+ combat, production, art style playability.
But what it improves upon and does different is they made the replaying of the game fun and interesting.
Dying in Rogue-lites always had a eventual power growth but this game furthers the story with every death AND ending.
It's going to be REAL tough coming out with a Rogue-lite game after this.

Do you got that renovation that let's you change your keepsake between levels? I've been starting with something else and then equipping the tooth when I get to an area I think I'll be dying at.I have not unlocked a single keepsake better than Lucky Tooth.
Which seems a shame. Or maybe I need to expand my mind. I just don't see what could be better than another life.
