This and 'Nothing To Lose' set the standard for 90s black/white duo comedy films.
EDIT: how this thread get this far without somebody mentioning how fine Elise Neal was in this joint :etc:
Also I watched this film so much I started noticing little shyt like when Aaron shows up with his bodyguard as backup for Franklin at the stadium, he has a sucker in his mouth. When he uses the Bazooka he tells his bodyguard to hold it for him. When the camera pans back to Aaron and the Bodyguard, the damn bodyguard has the sucker in his mouth now
The part in the helicopter where Chris is telling them to just drop him off by his cousin house
This is one of the funniest parts of ANY movie I have ever seen
Nothing to Lose// Money Talks // Blue Streak: Watched them all on repeat as a kid.
All classic 90s black/white duo comedy films...... but in each of them the brother was a criminal looking for a come up,while his lighter skin co star always had a stable job.
American cinema loves it this way. Movies always come out funny and dope.
I remember 1 90s black white duo comedy movie: BulletProof where they flipped the script. Damon Wayans was a respected COP and Adam sandler was the criminal looking for come up......IT FLOPPED.
I think i wrote a paper on this crap/
not sure on the numbers of bulletproof but did it really flop? A personal classic to me, as mentioned with the other movies in here as well
Damon Wayans in the 90s
Major Payne, The Great White Hype, The Last Boy Scout and Bulletproof
when those two Belgian criminals were in the helicopter discussing $20 million, and Franklin interjected himself into the convo and wanted to split the money three ways:
"7 for me , 7 for you , and you, you get whatever's left over cause you been trippin ever since I met you ."
