"They put their hands on you?"

:laff:
Faizon said he was just visiting the set and they changed the scene from Franklin get chased by a cellmate trying to rape him to that. And they improvised most of it. You can tell because Faizon was holding in laughter right before Chris yelled at him about his shirt

No Whammies!!
Thanks to this thread, I went and re-watched this on Sunday.
One thing that I didn't remember is how it was intentionally trying to constantly reference 70's 'blaxploitation' comedy movies. (e.g. playing the theme from Car Wash in the car wash scene, etc.) The movie seems to be going out of its way to call itself a 90's throwback to 70's movies.

Most of the humor actually holds up better than I expected. I was kind of worried it wouldn't.

Does anybody like a warm blanket during a cold night? Does anybody like salt on their fries??

Not only OP can ask real controversial questions.

Watching for the 100th time now on Netflix. It’s Criminal to know Tucker didn’t get half of the profits. Without Tucker this movie gets left and forgotten in 1997. Tucker made it a timeless classic. To know sheen got paid more :hhh:

I didnt know that. Tucker's a legend now, and Charlie Sheen is where?

What?!Never knew about that.

Sheen gettin' paid more makes sense in '97. You negotiate the contract before the movie, so he had that star power.

God's Plan
watched this last night. the love must be nostalgia. a few chuckles here and there. but nah, not in the league of friday or first two rush hr movies at all. seems like they just pretty much let him ad lib and alot falls flat. that 'chicken, cornbred and koolaid' line was so cringe. he may as well have thrown in watermelon too.
:smh:
