Covid was the best/worst ever in nursing, the bonuses were absolutely insane. I paid off so many things and have a killer savings.
:wow:
:francis: Butttt a lot of people lost their loved ones.
I miss those bonus checks and the ridiculous amount of overtime that was available..... :mjcry:

But nah having to almost fight patient's families telling them they couldn't see them on their death bed (when the deaths started ramping up) and
all of the chaos was too much mentally....

If anything it did show humanity as a whole what really is important was connection and how trivial most day to day really is. That and most people are just as dumb, selfish and idiotic as you expect when push comes to shove.

On the flip it was just another event in a long line of traumatic mind control programming because pre COVID humanity is not the same post. Just like post 9/11 people were never the same. There's layers to this, like an onion, but most people truly aren't ready to see the true nature of the global plantation and its head games.

As I said previous, you could feel the planet breathe a sigh of relief like it was finally at ease. Humanity is such an infestation in that respect. I said back then that it felt like the owners of Earth were selling up to a new buyer and wanted to create a good impression to get the best price. Brehliens swoop in and think "My, what an idyllic planet. Its quiet and serene, nature in full swing, so very little pollution and the price is decent. Whats the catch?". They'd been burned before so they decided to keep an eye on it for a few months before bidding.

They did, the paper work went through and suddenly all these pesky humans popped up out of nowhere, hooting and hollering. Messing up the vibe.

Crazy times... Wait till you see what happens between now and 2025... 2050 you'll look back at this and it might as well be a totally different planet.

The Game is changing... By the old gods and the new.

Don't worry OP another virus will come and fukk us up again. Government and business learned nothing from this one. No more money being given to hospitals, no more funding for doctors and nurses, no improvement to supply chains, the insistence on trying to bring workers back to the office despite the fact that productivity remained the same, no substantial increase in pay for essential workers, nothing. Next one that comes along will make covid feel like the sars panic in 2002.

I was with you till this part.
Just curious...
Do you object because you're antimask or because I said it doesn't prevent the mask wearer from getting it?

Masks have been used in Asia since long before COVID, by people who have a cold, so they don't give it to others. I have been to Japan twice, and saw it first hand. Masks do help you to not spread things to others, but they DO NOT prevent the wearer from catching something. The CDC and them were saying the same thing since almost the beginning of the pandemic, and again, this has always been common knowledge in Asia.

I've never been a mask warrior on either side of the argument, but I'm just giving the information I have.:manny:

Streets felt like the city was a ghost town. I loved that.

Also cops were less likely to pull people over for some reason. They just started ramping it back up in the last half year or so in my area.

Brehhhhhhhh..... :why:

Can face masks help slow the spread of the virus that causes coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)? Yes. Face masks combined with other preventive measures, such as getting vaccinated, frequent hand-washing and physical distancing, can help slow the spread of the virus that causes COVID-19.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends masks for the general public. If you're in an area with a high number of people with COVID-19 in the hospital and new COVID-19 cases, the CDC recommends wearing a well-fitted mask indoors in public, whether or not you're vaccinated.

The CDC says that you should wear the most protective mask possible that you'll wear regularly, fits well and is comfortable. Respirators such as nonsurgical N95s give the most protection. KN95s and medical masks provide the next highest level of protection. Cloth masks provide less protection. The CDC says that surgical N95 masks should be reserved for health care providers.

I just miss the easy money, lack of road traffic, and people being more courteous.

The key word (which you highlighted), is SPREAD.

Also, they did say that cloth masks don't offer much protection from COVID.

Perhaps the thing about cloth masks is what I remembered the CDC saying, instead of masks in general. I can give you that, but the vast majority of people wore/wear cloth masks, and not the N95 masks that protect you.

Either way, like I said, I'm not a mask warrior or antimask warrior, so I care about this a lot less than you, breh.
