I stopped eating it after all the health scares. I try to stick to wild caught fish and all the tilapia I’ve seen is farm raised.

How is whiting nasty? Bruh thats all Black people eat in the South East..... Alabama, Mississippi, Tenneesee, GA, Kentucky..... If you go to a fish & chicken spot, it's usually only catfish, Whiting, and maybe another fish (that nobody really orders).
Black dude from the south here. Unless it’s fried it’s nasty is what I think most people are saying.

Having it served fried, spicy, and on a piece of bread with some crinkle fries is what makes it edible. Though I personally think it’s still inferior to catfish.

Wild?? :usure: Did you know that GMO salmon was....."accidentally".....released into wild populations. They are expecting they will overtake natural populations

Transitioned from vegan to pescatarian almost 1.5 years ago.

Wild caught salmon, (preferably Alaskan king Salmon)

Alaskan Halibut

Red snapper

Rockfish(similar taste to snapper)

Sea Bass (maybe 2x a month)

Salt fish or cod fish (if I eat at jamaican spots)

Are normally the fish in rotation. Prolly spend about $300 to 400 bucks on sea food every month for 2.5 people.

Sea food is great if you know how to prepare it.

Dont people say there is some risk with high mercury levels if you eat too much? Or is that just salmon?
