Black dude from the south here. Unless it’s fried it’s nasty is what I think most people are saying. How is whiting nasty? Bruh thats all Black people eat in the South East..... Alabama, Mississippi, Tenneesee, GA, Kentucky..... If you go to a fish & chicken spot, it's usually only catfish, Whiting, and maybe another fish (that nobody really orders).
Only fish I fukk with is Bluegill and bass
It really is. I had an uncle some time back that used to catch it a lot at Bear Mountain.Bluegills are so damn good

Transitioned from vegan to pescatarian almost 1.5 years ago.
Wild caught salmon, (preferably Alaskan king Salmon)
Alaskan Halibut
Red snapper
Rockfish(similar taste to snapper)
Sea Bass (maybe 2x a month)
Salt fish or cod fish (if I eat at jamaican spots)
Are normally the fish in rotation. Prolly spend about $300 to 400 bucks on sea food every month for 2.5 people.
Sea food is great if you know how to prepare it.
