Hope there's puddin' in the clink...
I have 3 banks: a well-known bank for easy ATM accessibility, an online bank for the higher than normal MM rates and a credit union (had since my 1st job) for the low ass car rates. 
I'm in a city. And finding in-network ATMs isn't an issue per se. But I do have to go a bit farther than if I was with Chase or something like that.
Great rates and I get free withdrawals at McDonalds in my area and at 7-11's with no monthly fee
I got an account with a local CU in LA....can't complain 
These CU's have a network with the ATMs....you can withdraw at any CU or even at 7-11 and it's free.
Most of my money is at One United though

Idk about where yall at but in LA they also have this "Co Op" network....where you can pretty much go to any CU to do your business. So let's say I am a member of Bumblefukk CU......I can go to the UCLA CU and deposit my money there. Or even go into the branch and deposit or withdraw cash. So there really is no way you can be in a position where you can't deposit/withdraw or go into a branch to ask a question because it's too far. Even my CU's branch is 20 mintues away i can just go to whichever Co Op CU is closest.

nikkas like credit unions cuz it's easier to get a loan. Never get a loan tho unless for your home or car financing
every time I go to my credit union they are all too happy to remind me of the loans I qualify for lol
