Bro we live in a area where there is food all around usMaaaaaaan it's funny you say that because my mom's side is from north florida and when I was down there for Christmas all the old folks were talking about eating possum, racc00n, and some other weird shyt like that. They might've mentioned gator and turtles too.

I've heard people say turtle is the best tasting meat you can eat, but you have put them in baby tub alive for a couple days to clean them out. That's what an old dude told me.
They used to swallow the chicken pieces when we were crabbing and we'd have to cut the line. Now I might try to pull them out of the water, just to see what it taste like.

When i was 5 my grandmas bf bought me two asian turtles from chinatown meant to be eaten as pets.
They werent snappers but straight savage. Ate pork chops to the bone.
We released em in willowbrook pond in staten island. I hope they run that shyt now.

you dont have to put them in a tub if its a snapper turtle....Their diet is the same as most fish. Because of that they taste 
Its best if you stew it or have it in a gravy based sauce. only land crabs need to be held in isolation and fed good foods before you eat them @iBrowse will put you up on game breh
