I didn't have a huge collection of wrestling figures but I had the set with this ring.

My only problem with these figures is I remember they use to break and get fukked up...I had some older wrestling figures than these, I think they were made of rubber and created by a company called LJN...They were much taller than the toys that came later and they never broke.
ljn smh were those the figures that were stuck in one pose that looked like the wrestlers were talking a dump?

Are those custom figures or were they actually released by Jakks? That Razor is piff.
yea they're custom but I'm thinking of tracking down the site off the strength of that razor and rip figure. They kind of remind me of those old biggie action figures

this is a fun lighthearted collector's thread.

as a kid,....
I never got the wwf figures because they were not poseable.
so, I never got them because paul orndorf could not give anybody a piledriver.

anyway,..when I was in my twenties..
I went in a kaybee toys store and it was going out of business.
so, I saw ecw figures for sale.
copped the dudleys, and of course:

:wow: I had the big ring, the wrestlers, the chairs, the ladders, the tables, I even did my own commentary.

Before that though I made my own tables and stuff though, I was improvising so much back then. :ahh: Creativity, used to play for hours with those figures man. Had my own shows going on, big 'spots' and everything. So much fun letting my imagination run wild with those figures.

:whew: Nostalgia hitting me hard.

When ECW rolled around into my life I went outside and lit one of those tables that came with the figures on fire. :dead:

Raven suffered 3rd degree burns. :birdman:

:krs: I never did my figures like that. They did get dropped off of 'high' places for big spots though. Somebody getting suplexed from my bed to a table in the ring was pretty much death.

He was the only one who suffered. I was overprotective of my toys and never wanted them to "get old" AKA stay brand new. I was so determined to set one on fire that I made a sacrifice. :demonic:

I was like JR on commentary when I did it. :heh:

I still have all my old ones in milk crates in my attic. Lots of them are missing parts though.

I was a huge collector of wrestling figures. That was my passion in life as a kid. lol

It was all about the LJN's when I was little - me and my boy would combine our collections and have epic battle royal's and our own WrestleMania's. He would have some guys that I didn't and I would have some that he didn't have. I remember forever the King Kong Bundy was the one I was dying to get and it seemingly took forever to find. Then one day we hit up the Toys R Us and my dad found it and I was :lawd:I was the same way when I got Jake the Snake too - he came with his own Damien :ahh:Then for some reason the figures got harder to find and I had to order through the magazines - for my birthday I got One Man Gang, Honkey Tonk Man and Hacksaw Jim Duggan. :dj2: I'm pretty sure I still have them somewhere - just have to do some digging. My brother collected the next wave - which were the smaller plastic ones that others have mentioned. It just wasn't the same - they looked so puny next to the LJN's. I see that Mattel has been doing a decent job with the figures now - but those things cost 20 a pop. No thanks even for someone that still collects from time to time.

Spent many hours playing with this. I had so many of those TTL figures, wish I still had them man! Used to have my own fed and all sorts :to:

Hasbro's were done by the time I started collecting but I'd love to start a collection and put them on display. I've seen some sick ones like Yokozuna, Doink and Razor Ramon.

Had that exact Vince Titan Tron set, I had all them nikkas from that series during the attitude era

The memories :to:
