And this is where the whole narrative falls apart for people saying Roy doesn’t develop talent. Those guys aren’t being coached by Roy anymore. Whether or not they bust in the NBA or not has nothing to do with Roy. If he can get them to the NBA that’s all that matters. We’re talking about players that before they came to Carolina weren’t even being looked at by NBA scouts. But showing out at Carolina and executing Roy’s system got them drafted.
Hell Luke Maye non-athletic ass is getting a shot in the NBA and he was a 3 Star.
Edit: Also, Nassir is going to be a project for a couple years. He needs time to develop as a player. What happened to him a Carolina would have happened to him anywhere where there’s a player that’s better than you at your natural position.
