We currently have the window AC on fan mode. I don’t leave the units in the window all winter, because it lets the cold in. So I’m going to have to invest in a white noise machine.

Yes, I have window AC units like a peasant, because I’m not ready to invest in central air. My house is old, and we have radiators. I’d have to install an entire duct system, despite renovating the entire rest of the house. But it looks great.
