take a look at this, all the companies in the world really fall under a few.
There's no denying that there's a select few in power of everybody else in the world.
That was known when they were fighting russia during the cold war.

I don't deny conspiracies and secret societies I just don't think one is controlling the world right now like the people who believe in the Illuminati do. It is an irrational belief believed because of misinformation.

A lot of what is written off as 'conspiracy theory' is actually conspiracy FACT. When you talk about valid things going on, people want to try to bring in the outlandish theories such as reptiles and aliens to discredit the valid elements of it all.
When you have a right wing president in Reagan and a left wing economist in Paul Krugman both talking about the need for a 'ufo invasion' to help unify mankind, then you know something is going on. When you have Dimitri Medvedev holding up a coin with the words 'unity in diversity' in English and Timothy Geitner talking about being open to a world currency, you know something is up. When you have the Patriot Act extended, busses installing microphones to monitor our conversations, the government archiving our emails in bulk, and drones that can be retrofitted with weapons flying overhead in our cities with more authorized, you know something is up. When you have body scanners appear in airports the NEXT DAY after the 'underwear bomber', then you know something is up.
I can easily go on and on, but everyone will believe what they will believe.

Some stuff they do keep secret and this is where an illuminati comes into play. It's tentacles are everywhere so they also control the tools that control us (pharmaceuticals, food) and tools that distract us (media, film tv). Everyone has a boss but higher up you go less bossss there are eventually it's gotta be a small group controlling everything IMO. That's the idea of the pyramid symbolisim anyway and compartmentalization of diff arms. The Masons are a real organization. Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) is real. Bilderberg and Bohemian Grove are real events where old white men get together worship owls and call shots about some real ass shyt that affects the average everyday citizen. None of this stuff needs to be proven. 
"Illuminati" is just a catch all term to describe all of these various groups and the level of influence they possess but as a topic of discussion it has been degraded to a meaningless buzzword that actually kills conversation rather than stimulate it.
The idea that Jay-Z and a handful of low level millionaire pop stars are something to be afraid of is fukkin laughable and lame. Devil worship is nothing new in entertainment go get a late pass.
