I heard something similar to this as well but I'm not so sure that he's over what happened. He'd be an Idiot to think that they'd Treat him any differently if he did come back, sure he'd come back in to a Full Push and maybe even a Title Run but eventually he'd be back to Square 1.

Great wrestler but big difference between him and Brock is Punk never had the makings of a varsity athlete :unimpressed:

Can't ever get that kind if leverage

It kills me that people think punk isn’t a star. nikka gets constant chants nightly and ain’t been on the roster in 5 years

Who else has had that connection with the fans?

We’ve never seen anything like it, despite how you feel about dude. Fans weren’t chanting Rocky or Stone cold for literally no reason after them nikkas dipped..

But anytime wrestling fans reject whatever’s in front of them today, they chant Punks like he’s their fukkin savior or something. Dude is 100% a star by today’s standards. Maybe not outside of wrestling, but in this pocket he’s as much of a star as you can get

Punk would instantly become the biggest name they have.

:mjlol: Bigger than Brock, Roman,Charlotte, Becky, Undertaker, Cena or Miz? He not even bigger than the total divas cast.... What world do you live in where punk is a big name mainstream star ? He not even bigger than Daniel Bryan

Why are these punk marks ignoring the fact that it would make WWE look incredibly silly to push a guy to the Moon who got demolished in real fighting.....WWE still likes to somewhat protect the illusion that they could be legitimate tough guys

Don't be fooled He's a martyr ... He basically is a symbol of being rebellious towards WWE. There is no real connection like summer of punk or even Kofi from a few months ago, just what wrestling fans chant when the products sucks but that punk chants will be replaced by AEW chants soon enough.

Because at the end of the day this shyt still fake. And Punk would be one of the biggest names on the roster instantly.

They lost the illusion of legitimate tough a long time ago when Big Show jobbed out to that dude with one leg and 130lbs of body weight.

False, the biggest draws have always have an air that they could probably fight in real life even if we all know it's fake. Once that "mystique" is gone it's gone and never have we seen a "main eventer" get washed so badly like it did punk.. You think Vince wants to push a guy as the face of his company when there's video of him getting destroyed like that? It's diff than Rhonda and Brock too because both had success before in real fights

That's why Tyson Austin worked... We all know Tyson would probably kill Austin in real life but Austin had a tough guy mystique that allowed us to suspend belief enough.

Punk used to have that mystique with his hand wraps and look but now I just see a guy who got exposed and rocked easily by two lower tier mma fighters. How am I supposed to un-see that

I don't think the fans would care, so yes Vince would throw the biggest bag and put the rocket strap on Punk again if he called him up tomorrow. The WWE in 2019 has a niche audience, everyone who watches religiously, goes to shows, etc knows its fake and doesn't care. At this point they aren't getting that casual audience back regardless because there aren't any real BIG TIME stars like Austin. Yeah he lost in the octagon but he still would stand out in this crop of talent.

Because he left the very same company they hate but still religiously keep up with on a weekly basis:mjlol:

Nah, it’s really because when the large majority is vocally behind something, there’s always a minority group of elitist dikkheads that wanna oppose it in an attempt to stroke their contrarian ego

I just never understood why people hate Punk for leaving when they complain about the writing/Vince but when he took matters in his own hands they don't like it. Seems like the fans are more like Vince than they really think....
