I asked myself this question the other day. Why are sistas usually more religious than black men?

I grew up in the black church but as i got older thongs just didnt add up. I still believe in a higher power, but i threw jesus, the bible and chuch in the bushes

i have to assume it's because in their eyes, that's the perfect specimen of a black male. that whole 'god-fearing' angle doesn't strike a cord with men because we're more likely to recognize a hustle when we see one.
