Anyone else a little disturbed by the Warrior worship on here as of late?

Finding out what kinda person he was behind the paint as an adult doesn't wash out the memories the character gave as child. They're called your formative years for a reason, you'll always have a soft spot for the things that mattered to you in those times. ..

I didn't know "man" personally to judge him nor the reasons for his "controversial" views and comments etc, all I had was the character I connected with as a kid and that's plenty of reason to be sad that he's gone and to speak glowingly of what was a superhero to me.

See I don't buy this honestly.

Because when I read about what a dikk MJ was, I gotta say, I wasn't a fan anymore. And I used to love the Bulls and MJ, but as an adult knowing the kinda guy he was, I realize he was just a fukking a$$hole.

But hey, I guess to some people one bigot is better than another bigot.

This might've easily been given a pass on the coli, but there's also that rant where he talks about "obviously black" criminals "acting like rhesus monkeys". Also, saying heath Ledger deserved to die and similar things about Perfect, Davey Boy, etc

He seemed to have chilled out in his last 4 or 5 years though, aside from the Hogan thing.

Exactly.

But no, all this shyt is forgiven because the dude died. He's treated like some Hero when in reality he was a bigot.

And like I said, old white men don't get more liberal as they age, he probably just kept it to himself more.

What's the story with this?

They did a nWo reformation that went awry when Hogan turned face after Mania 18. They added Show, Booker, Waltman, and Michaels as a fill in. Around the time Austin walked out, Michaels kept saying there was something didn't fit in the nWo in a promo and the way it was presented after he blindsided Booker with the kick was he was a little too dark to be amongst them. Cripple H and Flair continued the racial burial several months later leading to Mania 19.

You don't "buy it" because it's your truth. Not mine

I've always been good at separating entertainment from reality, dude was an entertainer and that's all I looked to him for so hearing he was a bigot and a weirdo was :manny: because I really didnt and still don't care what a guy who if we gotta go there with all due respect "wore makeup and wrestled in his underwear" thought about New Orleans and Hurricane Katrina. .. again I ain't mad that you feel different tho

I've been around Jordan a few times when I was bouncing/bar tending like actually spent time talking to him because I didn't approach him like a rabid fan, he was a pretty cool dude with a really dry sense of humor. .. He basically doesn't like being approached by males acting like groupies was my take away. But that's just my side of it I don't have any issue with u thinking he's a scum bag based on perception thru what you've seen and heard of him.

Does this have to do with his rant on homosexuality?

Nah i think it has more to do with this

In 2007, he complained that George Washington doesn't have his own devoted national holiday, but Martin Luther King Jr. does:

Martin Luther King can have his own self-titled birthday recognized as a National Holiday, but not our country's First President? Should I go on? Should I have to? Do I want to? Will I? You bet your ass I will.

Let's see if I understand this correctly. Or should I say, let's see if I can get to anywhere near a "correct understanding" of this piece of nonsense by, first, understanding it sensically using political-incorrectness?

Martin marched a few times from Selma, AL to Montgomery, AL. It's only about 40 miles and he walked along paved roads with security escorts and modern comforts and conveniences. He wrote a few jailhouse letters, plagiarized a great many speeches, and played up his last name "King" as if he was ONE. He led his best rally amid the monuments of Washington, DC. He preached proper, righteous behavior while he at the same time committed adultery many publicly verifiable times — oh, and he had "a dream."

How much of that was just heel heat versus them really feeling like that but knowing they can get away with saying it because all they have to say is that they are bad guys and supposed to make the audience hate them...

I still want to know who wrote the N word on Ahmed Johnson's car...at first I thought it was Austin but i'm really leaning towards Michaels or HHH in that era

Austin always seemed liked a fair minded dude and I don't think he was a prankster

I have never read about Warrior's political or racial views...anything racial. He's not gonna say it to anyone's face who count anyway..like most Whites.

I got a kick out of his rants against Nash and Hogan too.
