Where do they these knifes at and what is the cord ans on the knife for?

African in origin I believe. They are relatively cheap built utility knives. The pull chain is the locking mechanism releasing the tension of the lock so you can open.

I kinda like this one but then again I don't. I already have a folder karambit but I want a traditional fixed blade karambit. Im starting to look into more blades
