I think half of you complaining about the story played about 2 - 3 hours and/or up to Meridian and then went back to CoD or Madden. The game had some weak points -- chiefly the melee and some of the side quests -- but the storyline itself wasn't one of them. Everything, from Aloy's very existence and her place in the stories conflict, to the purpose of the machines and the fall of humanity, was beautifully told. I can't wait to jump back into that world in the sequel as there are still huge questions that I suspect will have even bigger answers.
