Won't that mean that thread will be impossible to post in?

Yeah but people start new "BB" threads all the time. It's not like that thread will be active forever anyway.

In my opinion "One Minute" is Hank's finest hour and on of the best displays of Dean's acting in the entire series, it was also the episode that bumped the show up from amazing to holy shyt I've never seen anything like this. It bothers me that I barely see this on people's top ten lists and that ending is one of the best in the entire series and in my opinion even better then the ending of Half Measure.
But seriously Hank :whew:

I'm following it in netflix, first time watching the series.
I'm at Season 5 episode 7"Say my name" and
that shyt got me fukked up this nikka killed mike when he coulda gotten the names off that other bytch like wow i can't even feel sorry for him now he's gone cuckoo its like a train that can't stop crashing, and i had to take a break this shyt was overwhelming brehs :sadcam: i mean shyt his granddaughter won't get the cash from her popop and he's gone and dead b fukk!!!!
no he couldn't.. mike wouldn't allow it and had said many times he'd come for walt's head if he touched any of them

he had money and a runaway fund.. he could have hired any fool to kill walt at any moment.. walt killed him BECAUSE he remembered lidia had the names and no longer needed him.. that's why he took the gun from him in the first place before he even asked him for the names

Nah I disagree.

I took it as, he took the gun because he's scared of Mike. You can see it when Mike steps forward to grab the bag, and Walt flinches.

He obviously didn't go there with any intentions of killing Mike, if he did there wouldn't be a conversation before he goes back to the car to get the gun. He would've gotten out of the car, shot Mike, and been on his way. If killing Mike was on the agenda there's no reason to get out of the car with the bag of money in the first place.

He killed Mike because he felt disrespected. He was feeling himself this whole ep from the first scene. He even tells Mike "what, no thank you?" after the scene with Declan, then at the end he blurts out "you're welcome!" because he felt like Mike was playing him the whole ep.

i can never tell in that scene....

ONLY BECAUSE IN THE NEXT SEASON....

Jesse tells walt.. "you would NEVER have killed mike's guys if he was still alive.. cause you know you'd have to look over your shoulder for the rest of your life"

i took it as, even if he let mike go, and he knew lidia could give him the names, he still couldn't pull it off cause of mike would come back

they need to make a breaking bad book or something... this show could honestly be SOMEWHAT like star wars.. where there's a million break off stories and who's and why's answered

we could honestly have back stories on...

hank's life as dea before walt
gus' life in chile to us kingpin
mike's life as a cop/dirty cop
declan's backstory
jesse before walt since he was hustling a little bit
the whiteboys' story since they was running shyt in and out of prison
etc etc etc

It could go either way really.... :manny:

I took it as Jesse trying to rationalize why he thought Mike was dead, not the writers telling you "this was Walt's thought process". Honestly Walt was so far gone at that point he would've killed Mike's guys regardless. If he was worried about Mike he never would've asked for the names in the first place.

And Mike and various other characters will be in the "Better Call Saul" prequel, so maybe we'll see a bit of their back story.
