Yeah you're right otherwise the school would have been built years ago he's been doing this for almost 11 years now.

It's all a part of his grift so that he can extract more money from his followers.

He doesn't have any intentions of opening up the school the grand opening date that he had for fdmg came and went last year. No new date.

Why can't Umar be honest about the status of the school?

I would rather he keep it real, say he was in over his head, and offer to reimburse his donors with the money they donated...explained that he tried to get it up to code, it cost too much money than he knew what to do with, and apologize and work towards something in the future.

He can't even do that...he has to continue to lie and claim that there are investors in the property, even though it's not hot property in that specific part of Wilmington at all. Or claim he's selling one building to buy another one in Atlanta of Chicago or something.

Why does he do this?


To keep the grift going and to keep his image somewhat intact in the eyes of his followers as some responsible benevolent educator of young black boys...even though it's very obvious his own affairs are not in order.
