I've played alto sax, viola, guitar, bass, drums, piano, and one day, I decided to teach myself trumpet. I went to the music store and rented a trumpet. I bought a beginner trumpet book. It was pretty easy at first. It got much harder as the notes gets higher.I'm bout to teach myself how to play the trumpet. i used to play in the 6th grade 10 years ago. played for a year then put it down. thing been sittin in the closet collecting dust. bout to get my groove back. my lungs

I keep drifing in and out with this guitar, but I bought lessons that I have to use, and always go to some show that makes me wanna get back at it, meh

tried to teach myself to play trumpet but i think my lips are too big to really play it. i realized you need some skinnier russel westbrook, soulja boy type lips that kind of stick out
my grandfather was a julliard trained pianist and i wanted to teach myself piano for the longest but i want a true grand piano and buying one has been the only thing stopping me.

cant even think of 9 instruments off the top of my head
ill take this up with google though

Lip size does not matter in trumpet playing.

You do not need a perfect instrument to begin practicing.
You do not need a perfect, expensive instrument to begin practicing.
There are all kinds of replica grand pianos available from places like Sam Ash if you're really serious about wanting to learn.
I'm learning the piano. Played a little when I was younger but never got far. I played other instruments, too, and the piano isn't even my favorite but it's fun and good to learn on. It's a full digital one with weighted keys, it doesn't take up much space.
Taught myself both piano and guitar.
Any advice you can give to someone that's trying to leanr both as well....?

I tried and failed to learn the drums when I was younger. Didn't have enough coordination to play the bass drum and the snare at the same time
