I love my mom but she's always been bad with money and I have no problem shutting her down if she's been financially irresponsible and then asks me for money to "eat lunch". You weren't worried about lunch when you were gambling so better take sandwiches this week.

you got it...Just because you had a child doesn't automatically make you a good mother or deserving of respect and admiration.
Some of you in here act like everyone has a good mother. It hurts more because the world tells you what a mother should be, and naturally you are drawn to your mom. That is the one person who is supposed to love you unconditionally and sacrifice for you. Imagine if they did the opposite. The one person in the world who you should be able to turn to and they are trash.
I have a good mom and I am grateful for her, but we use to have major issues. Part of my issues as an adult stem from it. But accept her for who she is and know she isn't going to change.

love my moms...she can be miserable as fukk at times (she's jamaican)...but she's still my favorite person in the world....she did way too much for me throughout my life for me to have any kind of long term negativite feelings towards her...
