depends on what you're applying for.

Something like this is pretty standard

Need to get my shyt looking like this :banderas:

This is for Entry level resumes. When you don't have a real or solid work history then you gotta make up some cutesy fonts and formatting to make your resumes look attractive visually to compensate for a lack of substance.

However if you do have a solid work history, skip this cutesy crap, all it does is detract from the substance on your resume. I mean clean it up and make it visually appealing but skip this BS

Yep this is the best format. But remember to tailor that resume to the position you are applying to.

Exactly. Check the job description and then adjust your resume to better show the experience and qualifications that you have that seem most important to that job.

For instance for one position you may want to highlight your independent work skills, times or projects that you worked on alone and your successful results.

For a different position you might seek to highlight your contributions as a member of or a leader of a team. Or give examples of partnering with different delartments or perdonnel in your organization and your results.

Yeah you can say that. But the software is extremely sensitive. That is why I encourage experienced folks to basically drop the whole freaking req into their resume. If the resume say XYZ then you put down you did XYZ. The likleyness for the hit is greatly increased.

If they asked have you worked on such and such software list the software and basically put the info down exactly how they have it in the bullet for the req.

In the end you want the interview and all the HR person is doing is dumping the resume it into the system. They aren't reading that shyt....they have a job to do and have to review hundreds of resumes at a time. You just want them to push it through to the manager for his or her review. But you won't get there if you can't pass the software.

I have helped so many folks get interviews by doing this same method. The systems and procedure is more strict now. Before you could get hits by using a few buzz words. But not anymore.
