Not really. Just learinin'. Infact I may be going to a Dealership today...

Then you don't need a gsxr. You don't need anything above a 500 or a twin 650 at most.

Get your license, buy a starter and learn to ride for a year. Then go look at the rocket.

Take it from a man who laid a 1000 down and slid up the road and watched the bike slide beside me. And prayed to the good lord the whole time the cars coming behind me didn't run me over.

I shouldn't have been anywhere near that bike and I knew it but I did it anyway.

Don't listen to this man. I started on a 600. YOU control the throttle.

A 500 or a 650 will leave you very unsatisfied after a few months of riding.

Listen to this fool if you dare.

YOU don't know how to control a throttle yet. Especially out in traffic, in a sudden emergency, cold/wet weather, or just in a parking lot by yourself. Better unsatisfied in a few months, but alive, with a bike you can resell for what you got it for, then fukked up and done with riding altogether cause you listened to a schmuck telling you you can cause he claims he did.

I started on a 600 too before I laid the 1000 down. Looking back I should've listened to those who'd been riding for 15 and 20 yrs when they told me start small and work my way up.

Starting on a 500 or a 650 is shyt you only read on Internet forums. The cliche start small and work up lingo. I'm glad my brother and other riders talk me out of that stupid shyt. A 600 ain't even that bad and is way better than a 500 or 650.

Why would you want a bike with a top speed of 105 mph
:scust:

I have not met one person on real life who didn't regret that shyt after a few weeks

Dirt bike? What you got?

That's my bike. It's a dual sport. I don't go crazy on it. I just keep it local. I feel like I could definitely be comfortable on a bigger bike but I don't need it

Respect the good & understand the bad
What happened? And what stopped you from going back to riding?

Got t-boned by an old lady driving a mercedes out in Napa, while going to work one morning. Was going at about 45mph at the time. Didn't have a license or insurance so I was only able to get a minimal amount from her insurance company. Was laid up for four months and had to learn how to walk all over again. Broke both my ankles, femur, and got a bunch of rods in my left leg along with a plastic knee cap. Can only bend my leg about halfway, and my left ankle no longer can go past neutral. Got a daughter now, and my wife promised my mom before she passed that she'd never let me buy another one. This cold weather has my leg in a lot of pain right now even as I type this.
