Don't talk to me about tolls, man. Damn Verrazano is the most price gauging toll in america. It should be criminal.

I agree. The GW Bridge toll I take everyday costs is also ridiculous. $15 just to cross a river?

all the toll bridges in NYC are a rip off. at paying to go from one burrough to another.

I drove out there for a wedding 3 years ago, and the GW bridge was like $9 at the time just to get in the city.

and I was using GPS the whole time to avoid the toll bridges. still ended up spending like $30 in tolls over a weekend

I dont know how ya'll tolerate that nonsense. I got pissed when our tollway tolls went up from 40 cents to 75 cents last january. and I don't even really need the tollway to get to work. just the principle of paying a toll to drive on a road when i'm already paying for gas (which is taxed to death to pay for roads), car insurance, car registration (that's a tax to the state), city sticker (that's a tax to the city). its fukking stupid.
