The difference between today kids and kids of the 80's/90's is that today's kids are quick to shoot you with no questions asked. Back then,it was all about brawling and scrapping. Crew vs Crew. Maybe a few bats or knives here and there. Today's kids are fukked up mentally due to our older generation. We talked about shootings and killings through music and word of mouth and that influenced today's kids to be about it. Yeah we done fukked up

Murder rates have dropped drastically since the early 90s. Even violent cities like Chicago have lower murder rates now than in the early 90s. The late 80s - early 90s were quite dangerous.

I had my step son tell me the other day that it's more violent now than it was when I was growing up, so i had to school him. Thinking about it though, and the 24 hour news cycle has really done a number on us.
You also have to be specific, too, though. Come to think of it, there are some things, like these school shootings, that I think are more common now than before. But generally, that atmosphere of murder isn't all-pervasive anymore.
sounds like a bunch of different video games. lets keep it 2000.thing is though this would specifically be the type of shyt that 15 years ago ur teacher would have yelled at u for and probably called your parents about. Since i see that almost all of these stories, by the boys, are about something involving conflict and killing, i can only assume that the teachers see no problem with it, therefore its clear people have gotten way more violent.
These kids talking about government overthrowing, torture to get info out of ppl, killing whoever u need to kill in order to complete your mission. It's actually really fukked up.

Yes murder rates have dropped but kids now a days are more violent. Back then it was grown ass men killing each other. Today,13 year olds are a common breed to shoot someone.

Yep. It's just that with the advent of the Internet and social media, we hear about everything that happens. Before the Internet blew up there was tons of violence, but unless you went out of your way to keep up with the news, you wouldn't always know about it. Nowadays kids can barely even get in fights without it being on Youtube.
If anything it seems like a lot of kids these days spend all day trying to act hard, but, compared to 80s and 90s kids, ain't really about that life.
