so im doing this thing where me n some ppl are taking a bunch of these grade 7-8 kids short stories and making them into epublications. While reading through these stories pretty much every single one of them is about killing and murder, described in rediculous asinine ways :mindblown: like literally these little creeps are talking about dudes getting tied to chairs and tortured, there ears cut off, dudes getting blown into pieces by like 10 barrel automatic guns :scusthov:
like i would have been sent for therapy if i ever handed in a story like this when i was in grade 7-8.

I know it's obvious why these kids are into violent shyt but has anybody noticed how blatant it has become?

Today's violent kids are tomorrow's video game designers. Or war strategists. Or non-lethal weapons designer. Or Gitmo interrogators. Either way though, I subscribe to the theory that children haven't changed much throughout the years. It's just as the world becomes a smaller place we've been able to notice how fukkasscrazy everyone else is.

thing is though this would specifically be the type of shyt that 15 years ago ur teacher would have yelled at u for and probably called your parents about. Since i see that almost all of these stories, by the boys, are about something involving conflict and killing, i can only assume that the teachers see no problem with it, therefore its clear people have gotten way more violent.

These kids talking about government overthrowing, torture to get info out of ppl, killing whoever u need to kill in order to complete your mission. It's actually really fukked up :russ:.

Ha, yeah, I saw that bit after I posted and I definitely would've gotten a trip the guidance counselor at that age. I think it might not be a violent culture but a 24/7 news cycle culture that we live in. Everything gets reported all the time. Kids are immersed in it. It's the world they live in. Either that or that whole class has been watching 24.

yep, I did all types of fuct up shyt, and I also remember kids that were way worse than me

yea kids like that don't worry me , that's just creative writing what there doing. The kids that worry me is the ones that sit by themselves at lunch everyday and do not attempt to interact with others, kid that locks himself in a room and plays WoW for 16 hours everyday . Nine out of ten times those are the ones that snap at one point or another.

I think kids are just more apt to feel comfortable putting it out there.
Yesteryears picture drawn behind the teachers back of mass shootings are today's fridge art work and tomorrows exhibit A. in the school shooting trial.

boys will be boys.

On that note, i'll add that while kids now are more apt to "talk about it" back in my day we were more apt to "BE about it"...i point to the spike in violence between the 70-90's.

i'll shyt we used to do that i don't think get's done like it used to:
- Rock fights. The idea was to try to almost kill someone.
- Construction area tag. The idea was not to die...or get tagged.
- Playing Outside. The idea was not to get shot for wearing the wrong color, or kidnapped and raped, possibly murdered.
- Street Tackle football: Try not to get killed
- Smear the queer: Try to kill the guy with the ball.
- Dodgeball: Try to "accidentally" hit people in the head.
- Hunting Arrow Tag - ....don't get hit by the kid throwing the hunting arrow.
- What's a helmet?

The list goes on and on.

Damn near every game played as a kid involved the very real possibility of death or dismemberment.

The I in Team
When I was a kid I caught a mouse in my house and decided to put on a show for all his friends. :birdman:

I never saw another mouse in my house after that. :leostare:
