@AsTheWorldBurns what is your job title? :pachaha:

I hope this didn't come off as intrusive, if you're not comfortable with sharing, that is ok.
I'm generally curious because coincidentally, I just started an agile project management cert last week. I like to pick things up from others and see how they fit with what my interests are.

You all good! I just missed this message. I’m a project specialist at a tech company. But I’m not on the tech side. I handle employee bonus compensation.

If you're not on the tech side then it would be stupid to fire you for not being familiar with Jira. If you do the rest of your job well, they should just teach you Jira.

I've worked with plenty of Project Managers and Implementation Specialists who had no idea how to work Azure DevOps (very similar to Jira).
We just taught them how to use it.... firing someone for that is crazy overkill imo.

I even made a powerpoint explaining it on this forum years ago :jbhmm:

If you see me getting on somebody it’s truly because I want them be better, and I know they can.

I don’t even waste time talking to loss causes.
Congrats, but respectfully, this thread is evidence that you need to be better yourself.

You were on the verge of unemployment and you were about to jump (back) into fraud activities. :dwillhuh:

We got rid of damn near 1/3 of our workforce in the past year. I’m still a lil shook :hamster:

@Gold hook me up with your deck if you still have it saved!

But yeah tech definitely needs more women. Its alot of weirdo dudes I'd rather not work with no matter how good they are at their jobs

Im getting to the point that I want to work with more Black folk, women in general, and other races.

White dudes and their arrogance/political dumbshyt is getting to me.

As in they will bring politics out of NO where, do the LEAST amount of work and the smugness :hhh:

Should have bookmarked it though, DevOps sounds more and more like a route I may take. Combine my IT skills with developing :ehh:
