Nah can't see it. I've gone to bars and strip clubs by myself but a sporting event is a 2 or more person thing for me. But if I had courtside seats at the Garden and somehow nobody to roll with, I'm in there for dolo high fivin Spike Lee like a mufukka!

I don't think I could do a sporting event solo. I feel that's something you should experience with others. The sitting at the game live, the shyt talking, the drinking, it's fun when it isn't just yourself.

I went to see UNC at the Elite 8 last year solo. I wouldnt make it a habit to go solo, but I won't miss an event I really want to see cause my boys are unavailable.

You care about your nikkas? :blessed:

Oh but you can.

I've never done it, cuz I like to share my experiences with others so I don't so movies, restaurants (outside of work day lunches), concerts, by myself...but if you're the kind of guy who can do those things alone, I don't see why you couldn't do a sporting event. I've been to games and met folks who come alone, and they've done shyt like that with my party...if you have that extroverted personality, you should have no problem enjoying the game with folks you just met.

Yankees games dolo is:blessed: especially trolling the seats down low. :manny: I still got that buy an average priced ticket and troll the seats mentality when it comes to Yankes games.

I have gone to games, movies, bars, clubs and restaurants solo. Why? Because I wanted to go and either my friends were busy, lacked funds or just were not interested. Most of the time I am out solo I just end up running into people I know or meeting a broad anyhow. Not a huge problem for me.

Why do I need to be with someone to watch a game in a stadium. I can enjoy the atmosphere with or without a friend present.

I live in DC right across the street from National's stadium so I will roll to one of those baseball games randomly from time to time in the summer. Same with the Wizard's if they are playing a good team. The sole reason I go to bars and clubs is to meet broads so I don't require a friend to go do that.

I'd even consider traveling out of the country dolo if my friends were b.s.'ing about going.

I haven't but I want to go to any event I can. Tennis and college basketball confrence or NCAA tournaments have been my newest targets but no one I know would want to go, I don't even like Tennis but I want to go see every sport live atleast once so that's why I want to.

The last couple of years I said I would go to the MSG for the Big East tourney and the US Open by myself I haven't gotten around to it maybe this year.

I've been to a few Mets games dolo, it's not bad because you get to actually watch the game and not be annoyed by your friends asking you stupid questions every 5 minutes.

Went to a Cavs game alone a couple weeks ago. Didn't feel awkward at all.

Don't Believe the Hype
I see no problem with it.

A couple years back, when I was still living in Jersey, I flew to LA for the ASCAP convention at the Renaissance Hotel. The Yankees were in town to play the Angels so I said, "F*ck it," took an Amtrak down to Anaheim, and copped a sixth row, behind-the-plate ticket for only $175 (I would've paid ten times that much in NY). Yanks lost but I had fun.

Also, in '99 when the Knicks were in the finals, I was in Midtown an hour before Game 3 (the only game they won) and got a ticket for only $115 so I went.

I don't know why people are so insecure about being seen alone in public, restaurants et al.
