Based on tech conventions, if there all like break out rooms with main stages, you might have a chance to talk to a speaker at one of the smaller breakout rooms. But if the one you go too has a lot of people, or if the person is stuck up, you're not going to be able to talk to them outside maybe a Q&A session.
