So do you just sit and listen to these people talk? so it’s like the Coachella or rolling loud of talking? Do you get one on one time with the person of your choice? That might make it worth it

Usually you listen to the speaker, group Q&A, and then one on one to meet/take pics with/talk to the speaker.

The speakers make money either by speaking (some of these cats will get 50K or more) and by selling stuff.

As an attendee - the real value is meeting other movers and shakers.

I've been to Real Estate joints, and a fair amount of business cards are exchanged and deals struck...

The real money is usually at the after party or in the less formal stuff - provided you have the social skills to rise above the fray.

That's every convention, be it smashing females at NABJ or smoking J's with dudes at Crypto stuff.

But most people are consumers and spectators - they're the food.

Looks like an older millennial concert and a fun place for 30-40 year olds to socialize and network. Not my cup of tea for $300 but it looks like if you go there with that kind of mindset it'll be fun:ehh:

300 bucks will keep a lot of dummies and brokies out. (but not all!)

Raise your hand if you've been to the "free seminar"!

Cats showing up in bathrobes and house slippers...

This conventions are about clout chasing and promoting brands. Real ones are finding anyway to get it working several shifts or jobs, learn several trades all to put food on the table and pay the rent, there is no one policy for everything and one single road to success

Invest (Influence/Content Creator) Fest.

Not knocking the hustle but it is what it is.

:manny:

Not gonna lie, I like how 50 Cent been moving business wise. That Shreveport business venture is massive.
His book about investing was definitely inspirational. And he makes a lot of solid moves from vitamin water to FOX. I totally believe that he'll go down as a great in terms of financial literacy. Got rich and almost died trying.
