I love going to the movies... Saturday morning matinees are the GOAT... Im also selective about what i will actually pay for, so i dont get duped too often

But im not paying for fake IMAX screens or 3d. (Never seen a movie where 3d greatly enchaned my experience)

because you would be paying $50 a ticket breh. Just take your shorty(s) on special occassions. You should be able to get to edison on a train or something.

i rarely go at all, i dont believe in wasting money but i make exceptions for the dark knights etc

i hear transformers is 245 minutes, i cant sit through that after being suckered by the second transformers movie

sitting here picturing a four hour transformers movie like

You can't take the PATH but you can take NJ Transit to Metropark Station. Probably easier to just drive tho. It's not bad from NY

I love going to the movie theater. Thinking about going tomorrow afternoon.
The Nolan Batman marathon is still one of my favorite theater experiences.

2) I want to see a big action movie that can only be experienced in 3D or in theater period (ex. 300 or Batman or Avengers, whatever)
3) I'm going to see a movie where there's gonna be a lot of other Black people in the audience so I'll be super entertained by the comedy both on the screen and off (ex. Ride Along)

LMAO...those are deadass my reasons for hitting the movies. Everything else (drama, romcom, comedy, kids movies) can be caught on the laptop

Only thing i hate is people talking. Yesterday when i saw 22 jump street, these nikkas are daping each other up on the stairs and giving each other hugs while the movie is playing because they came in late

I've yet to see a movie in a "true" Imax theater.

I watched Transformers: Rise of the Fallen at Franklin Institute IMAX in Philly and that ish was sensory overload. It's a true IMAX.

See why people wouldn't go, but I love it….It's just sitting in the dark, alone, my candy and soda, it's a relief and comfort thing for me, escapist almost. For two hours or so, I can be relatively uninterrupted and try to absorb myself in the problems and lives of others.

I like watching leaks in the privacy of my own home before they come out. BUT they just opened a brand new theatre by my house, so I'll probably go often now than I have in recent times. Used to go all the time because we had a good mix of regular and $1 theatres.
