Ive definitely seen middle aged and older Black Men either walking around aimlessly, hanging around the gas station, or riding their bikes up and down the block, as for Young Brehs i havent seen much of the same, but i will say that every single young Breh i know are heavy weed smokers including myself and alot of us are on the edge i know for a fact weed has helped me from losing my shyt and going on a rampage, ALOT of brehs are a bad day away from being the next Micah Johnson.

Shyt is sad but true. Especially in DC and Maryland. A lot of cats fukked off in school, it was cool to be the bad boy and skip school, do drugs. Back then their mom would help them keep them fly to pull women. Few years later, theyre 22,23 now. Rap career didn't take off. Parents arent giving them money anymore, hoez gone, no drivers license, no type of work skills or work ethic. It'll be another 3 or 4 years before their pride allows them to work at Checker's or Walmart.

The difference I see in Louisiana is young cats 12-16 worship rappers NBA youngboy, Cain Mafia, etc. I mean it's like a religion. The catz 17 and up that dropped out of school are either petty hustling or bums. A few work at like Walmart or a factory. The dope game has dried up severely. At 23, most men know they shouldn't have fukked off in school so bad. A lot of their classmates have jobs and cars.

Those year school years pretty much shape your whole life.

DC is ground zero for depressed, drugged out and/or unemployed black men of all ages. You got elderly black men on the streets begging for spare change or a meal and sleeping on cardboard on sidewalks and random staircases. Then you have these young black males who should be at school/work but instead are just walking through the streets drunk and high with no purpose, no care, and no regard for their futures.

This is not unintentional.

I live in Atlanta, the amount of homelessness here is shameful. The other day I was downtown coming out of this restaurant and this man approached me and asked for my to-go box. I gave it to him. He needed it more than me, especially if he asked some random person for their leftover food not knowing what was in the box or how hygienic I was. I want to do more for the homeless, I guess I need to get off my ass and volunteer with a group.

You see these men all the time, especially on interstate exits asking for change. I'll always give the black men cash if I have some on me (I rarely run into black homeless women). It sounds mean but I don't give anything to the white men I see standing around asking for cash, they'll get help from their own.

Can't go to family for emotional support, no matter how hard or smart they work they're practically invisible next to white coworkers/classmates, women tell them they aint shyt, and so many black men fukkin over other black men it's hard to make friends. That's not the case for everyone, but you hear it all the time. There are too many snakes in this world and sometimes a nikka just decides he's only gotta look out for himself

Yo I moved to this city cause I thought there was going to be some real prosperity for black folks here, but as the cost of living continues to rise and the city continues to get gentrified it makes me realize this country is not for us.
