Because the 1st season was good enough to give the 2nd one the benefit of the doubt after just 1 ep. Say you get 3 or 4 eps in and its True Detective season 2 levels of bad/boring then I can see bushing it. I can see doing it with a new show but not one that had a really good 1st season.

I'm only on the third episode and it got cancelled and it could very easily go left but making history is a good show

Sons of Anarchy is always good for a binge, Entourage too.
You should give Fargo another chance, the new season is decent, it's only a few episodes in but I already like it better than season 2. Season 1 is ultimately the best so far though.
The Strain is another one. I wouldn't call it "great" but it's entertaining and I been watching from the start. Season 4 is coming up soon and it'll be the last.
Smallville is another dope show.
Don't sleep on Curb Your Enthusiasm either, you probably already up on it, but it's replay value is infinite. I don't know anyone that dislikes it.
